School Administrators and Governor Training Courses

Elect Training for schools has developed a range of training programmes specifically targeted toward non teaching staff. We appreciate the difficulties of staff being released together during term time but also appreciate the need for staff to network with other likeminded colleagues. For that reason, the courses below are solely available to school staff.

Courses will be delivered based upon demand. If you are interested in one of the courses below, or any other bespoke training not in the list, contact us and we will endeavour to deliver the training in your school area.

This course is ideal for teaching and non teaching staff from primary, secondary and special schools, as well as FE colleges.

This course offers both teaching and non-teaching staff an overview of proven strategies for preparing for, settling into and succeeding in their first management role.

This course is ideal for those who have people management responsibilities and wish to maximise individual and team performance.

This course will be useful for those who want to ensure participation and commitment whilst reducing the length of the meeting, whether they chair the meeting or not.

This course covers all aspects of preparing and structuring agendas and gives simple guidelines for taking and writing minutes.

The course objectives are to analyse and increase understanding of the techniques of effective communication and active listening

The aim of the course is to enable delegates to gain an understanding of how and why conflict situations arise and then develop strategies for reducing and effectively controlling them.
